| Location: | LÖSCH für Freunde enjoys an elevated position in the sleepy town of Hornbach in Germany's south-west Palatinate region. The country house with its 15 individual living environments adjoins the grounds of Kloster Hornbach. Zweibrücken is eight kilometres from here and the French border three kilometres away. The towns of Saarbrücken and Kaiserlautern are both around 30 minutes drive. |
| Architecture: | LÖSCH für Freunde comprises three different building complexes: the former residence of the Lösch Family, the "Old Doctor's House", which was the former residence of the local GP, Dr Huber, and a new modern building in between that links both historical buildings harmoniously together. |

| Rates: | Prices start at 368 euros for one night in a double room, rising to 408 euros in the largest suite. Children up to 5 years stay free of charge in their parents' room. The price includes "Gaumenfreunden" half board, comprising a substantial breakfast, home-made cakes and afternoon snacks, and a communal dinner at the long kitchen table with aperitif, wine and water. Unlimited soft drinks, water, tea and coffee, plus fruit are available during the day. Those preferring to book on a bed and breakfast basis only, without half board, pay from 235 euros for one night in a double room and from 280 euros in the largest suite. |
