This suite (50 m²) has a separate living and sleeping area and a small balcony. The bathroom has a double washbasin, a whirlpool, an additional shower and a separate toilet.
At home amidst an exhibition
Art is a lie that makes us realize the truth, Pablo Picasso observed. Open up to art, and the resulting dialog can be anything from provocative to disturbing, is likely to be stimulating and most probably rewarding. Rule of thumb: If it’s boring it’s not art.
Our small suite Art Gallery resembles a gallery with light walls and floors that serve as a framework for whatever else there is. Here, no ho-hum pictures try to brighten up empty walls. Instead, this suite’s sponsor helps us hand-select artists and their works to create a special ambience, to offer different perspectives, possible new insights. For a while, that is, until the artists change, and the art.
It goes without saying that the word ‚furniture’ does not quite capture what else we find here. There are the unique stand-alones, the interesting little ensembles and maybe even a little intellectual provocation. Nothing disturbing, to be sure, but certainly stimulating. For a fascinating dialog, about art and truth and lies and what Picasso meant.
